April 23rd, 2008 Two Cornish clubs celebrating their 40th anniversaries this season produced some fine rugby and a magnificent gesture for charity recently. St Just RFC and Illogan Park RFC played two matches against each other on April 19th at St Just’s Tregeseal home ground. The afternoon started with a 26-7 victory in the veterans’ game for Illogan Park, which included a fine performance by the 63 year …

On a glorious sunny Saturday, Twyford Avenue, Acton (Home of Wasps FC) hosted London’s newest seven-a-side tournament the ‘RFU London City 7s’. The event, aimed at social grade rugby players, brought together 8 teams from as far away as Oxford and Folkestone, as well as local London sides, in what was to be an entertaining day of 7s.
