Technical Journal update.
Following the retirement of the Technical Journal editor, a review of all support services to coaches has been conducted. We are pleased to announce a range of new services to support coach development which will be based upon the following:
- The launch of a new Rugby Union Coaches Association, linked to the Coach Licensing Scheme and supported by a brand new web platform containing articles, session plans, animated and video based practices. (Launched Spring 2009)
- A monthly e-newsletter emailed directly to all coaches registered on the RugbyFirst database containing articles, and practices for coaches at all levels and updates on coaching development. (Launched October 2008)
To receive the newsletter, coaches should contact their Club Coaching Coordinator to ensure that they are assigned a coaching role (and the team they are coaching) on the Club's RugbyFirst database and an email address is provided.
If you wish to contribute to the Coaching Newsletter please contact Lynn Evans on lynnevans@rfu.com
