Building upon the success of last year’s programme, the RFU’s Coaching Department is once again providing coaching opportunities specifically designed for teachers.

Over 17 events will take place this year throughout the country providing specific aspects of rugby coaching. This year, each event (subject to demand) will run sessions for “new/developing” teachers alongside a programme for advanced or experienced teachers. Those attending the “new/developing” teachers programme will also gain accreditation and resources from the new IRB/3 Union Rugby Safety Course.

Helping to raise the standards of coaching & teaching will lead to players with better skills & understanding and ultimately a more enjoyable & sustainable participation in the game.
